This limited series of small closed porcelain thrown forms titled simply Sculptural Objects (Porcelain Objects) began as source material for a series of watercolor paintings. The objects were made specifically as subject matter and used as "models" for watercolors of each object. My intention was to begin with the idea of painting abstract ceramic forms as representationally accurate as possible. These works were shown along with the watercolors in Michigan City at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts in 2009.
